Fresh Starts and a New Year

I love a fresh start. Whether it is a new week, month or year. But in case you need to hear it, you don't have to wait to start. Today is a Wednesday. Start now, why not? If you are feeling really stuck and unmotivated but have a tickle of a thought of getting your *stuff* together. Take out a piece of paper and a pen and write down 2 things you think you can work on and 1 thing you want to but don't think you can.
One thing that you'd like to do. Walk more, drink more water. Something you can tell a difference.
Put another item here. Maybe spend less money. Something you can track or notice if you are doing less of it.
Here I'd like you to put something you don't think you can do. Lose 45 lbs. or Build your savings. Something that seems hard to do.
Now, if you look at your list. The first two items might seem smaller than the other item. Maybe now they seem doable. If you can work on doing the first two items a few times a week and maybe even build up to 6 times a week. It would be even cooler if the first two things helped with the 3rd bigger item. Maybe after 6 weeks you'll start to notice a difference and even be making progress towards your third "bigger" goal. Yay you!

Just start. It might help that 2024 is right around the corner and maybe you need a few days to mentally prepare for making changes. Just remember to start small, track changes and revisit often to see if you want to tweak or add goals. You got this and if you haven't heard it lately, I believe in you and you are capable of amazing things.
